Right Steps, Inc. exists to walk with Christ as we serve the women and children of Southeast Nigeria.

Right Steps Inc. is a registered U.S. non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status, and is governed by a board of directors. We are a holistic Christian mission designed to be a human rescue organization on both the physical and spiritual level. There are three Biblical Mandates our organization strives to accomplish:

1. Matthew 28:19-20 – “To take the Gospel into all the world”

Our objective is to establish and grow a viable Christian community in Obuzor, Asa, Abia State Nigeria and surrounding communities. The church will preach the Gospel to families and individuals in the area, as well as nourish and aid our work with the children and mothers. Also our objective is to help strengthen other Churches of Christ through the training and teaching of church leaders.

2. James 1:27 –“Pure religion is to care for widows and orphans in their afflictions.”

Our focus is also on women and children who find themselves orphaned, widowed, rejected from homes or family, or otherwise in a critical life-threatening state. This objective is carried out through a series of services which provide not only the basic physical necessities of life, but also the spiritual foundations which will give guidance and direction in life and ultimately save their souls.

3. Matthew 25:34-36 “To feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick and serve people in any way to improve their position in life and touch their souls in the process.”

This objective is be carried out by improving the environment in which people of Abia State live in the areas of secular education, spiritual education, and overall community development through a series of activities and programs provided through the Right Steps organization in connection with the local Churches of Christ. Spiritual and educational resources in this area of Nigeria are very scarce, and our objective is to help them improve themselves so as to become resources to others around them.

These programs are all to be funded and supported through the financial contributions of churches, organizations, individuals, and others who are interested in saving children and contributing to Right Steps’ mission in this area. Financial resources will come from these sources in both Nigeria and the United States. If you would like to join us in this mission and donate, click here.
